This morning it’s a little chilly for Southern California. 45 degrees to be exact. Brr. After I bundled up in my yoga pants and started a cup of coffee, I decided I needed something hearty for breakfast.
I found the idea on Pinterest and with my broken arm it’s easy enough. It hit the spot.
2 slices of your favorite bread
2 tbsp cream cheese (or more to your preference)
butter to grease the pan (or apply directly to the bread
Assemble your sandwich, grease the pan, drop it in, and flip. Enjoy!
I always find it easier to melt the butter directly in the pan then drop the sandwich in. Saves my from greasing up my hands and using too much. A little really goes a long way. I’ve also tried this recipe with blueberries, raspberries, or a mixture. You could also use jam if you don’t have fresh. That would probably be pretty damn good too.
